Connect your Threads or Instagram account securely via OAuth. Your credentials are never stored in Lace.

Lace searches Threads in the background and builds a curated feed of posts about connection — in your language.

What Lace accesses on Threads

Lace uses the Threads API responsibly. Here is every permission we request and exactly why we need it.

Authenticate users and display their profile within the app.
threads_keyword_search
Search public Threads posts to build the discovery feed.
threads_content_publish
Allow users to publish their own posts to Threads from Lace.
threads_read_replies
Display full reply threads under each post for context.
threads_manage_replies
Enable users to reply to posts and comments within Lace.
threads_profile_discovery
Show public profiles of post authors when users tap to view them.
threads_delete
Allow users to delete posts they published through Lace.
threads_manage_mentions
Notify users when they are mentioned in Threads conversations.
